I'm a PhD candidate in the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at UC Irvine. I study the philosophy of cognitive science, with special attention to social and moral cognition. I'm also interested in mathematical cognition and visual perception.
Before attending UC Irvine, I taught philosophy courses on the Big Island of Hawai'i as a tenure-track instructor at Hawai'i Community College and a lecturer at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo.
I earned my BA in Philosophy and Political Science from UCLA in 2005 and my MA in Philosophy from Cal State Los Angeles in 2009.
